World Wrapps – Restaurant Capsule Review – Multiple Locations

I generally am never looking to eat at a chain restaurant, but every once in awhile I find myself trapped in a world I didn’t create – some sort of mall or suburbia, and in need of a quick lunch, possibly with a quesadilla craving munchkin in tow. When that happens, World Wrapps is an acceptable option.

Their basic schtick is a variety of fairly healthy dishes from around the world, wrapped in flour tortillas or with extra rice in a bowl, along with some salads, soups, and, improbably, ice cream. The vegetarian options are a tofu teriyaki, black beans and rice, or a Bombay curry. It should tell you what you need to know when you consider that the Bombay curry is served in a “roma tomato tortilla”. Gak!

Still, the vegetables here look quite fresh and well treated for fast food. It is kind of the same mix of them on each plate, oh well. Still I can eat a bowl of beans and rice just about anytime and be happy. So that is my suggestion to you: forego the tortilla, expect middle of the road flavors but reasonably well prepared, and you won’t be disappointed. And you could always have ice cream.
